Crunchy breadcrumbs enveloped in creamy milk chocolate
Our soda bread crunch is created for us by Ballymaloe trained chef Jane Conlon, owner of Sodalicious bakery & cafe in the heart of Limerick City. Jane hails from 3 generations of family bakers & is on a mission to reinvent soda bread.
We use a treacle soda bread that is slowly roasted to bring out the strong slightly bitter treacle flavour. It is then dried to create a crunchy texture & enveloped in our creamy milk chocolate.
The resulting bar is a taste sensation reminiscent of honeycomb chocolate.
